Hello! In our workshop on Reading Success, we discussed four different interventions that might be used to improve the basic word recognition skills of the adult you are tutoring. On page 16 in the Reading Success booklet, you wrote a definition of each of these four research-based interventions and checked what your wrote with a partner. Do you have questions about any of these four interventions: Sound-Symbol Relations (Phonics), Sound Blending and Word Analysis, Syllabication, and Sight Word Instruction?
